Keep the trail
with the work.
Tracefolio is asset provenance and evidence for creative projects. Track the source, licence, receipt, attribution and file behind every external creative asset used in a project.
No account required in the planned product. No payment is taken on this validation page.

Your project records stay on your computer.
Original creative files remain untouched.
Gaps are shown plainly, not judged.
The quiet problem behind every delivery
Purchase history is not a project record.
The source disappears
A download lands in the project. Six months later, nobody remembers the marketplace, seller or original URL.
The proof is somewhere else
The receipt is in an inbox, the licence is in an account portal, and attribution text is buried in a readme.
Handover becomes archaeology
A client, publisher or platform asks for records. Deadline time becomes search time.
One calm workflow
Record as you go. Review before delivery.
-
1
Open the project
See every external asset used in one place.
-
2
Add what you have
Record source, licence, receipt and file reference. Incomplete records remain useful.
-
3
Find the gaps
Filter missing source, licence or evidence. Attribution and manual review stay separate.
-
4
Prepare the handover
Preview a client-facing evidence pack, credits and manifest.
Interface preview
Designed for the work, not for dashboards.
A dense, local desktop workspace built around projects, a reusable library and the evidence checklist.

Validation prototype · fictional sample data
What the prototype looks like today.
These are screenshots of the current validation prototype and sample outputs, not a finished product.
The professional output
A record you can actually hand over.
The sample evidence pack names what is recorded, what still needs attention, required attribution and manual-review notes. It does not make legal decisions.
- Project cover and evidence summary
- Readable asset manifest
- Attribution text ready to copy
- Visible missing-evidence section
- Clear non-legal disclaimer

Honest boundaries
Organisation, not interpretation.
The app is in development. This page and the interface are validation prototypes.
It records the evidence you add. It does not interpret licence terms or provide legal advice.
The prototype uses fictional sample data and does not persist changes or access files.
Team sync, cloud storage, marketplace scraping and automatic imports are not part of the planned first release.
Questions, answered plainly
FAQ
Does it upload my assets or receipts?
The planned core product is local-first. Records and evidence copies stay on your computer unless you explicitly export them.
Does it tell me whether I can use an asset?
No. It organises recorded sources, licence information, receipts, attribution text and review notes. It does not interpret agreements or make legal decisions.
Is this available now?
No. It is in development. The current desktop experience, evidence packs and pricing are validation materials.
Why not just use a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet is a real alternative. The planned product earns its place by connecting records to evidence files and project use, deriving visible completeness, and producing a polished handover.
Is the price final?
No. A$59, A$109 and A$199 one-time options are assumptions being tested. Expressing interest does not reserve or purchase anything.

Three-minute research form
Tell us about your creative work
The external form asks about your current workflow, past evidence searches, pricing interest and whether you would test the prototype. Submitting it is not a purchase or preorder.
