Early-access terms

These are practical validation-stage terms written in plain language. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They exist so expectations are honest, not to create a commercial agreement.

What joining early access means

Registering interest through the early-access form joins a product research programme. It is not a purchase, preorder or reservation. No payment is requested or accepted anywhere on this site or in the form, and expressing a pricing preference does not commit you to anything.

What Tracefolio is right now

Tracefolio is in development. The desktop application shown here is a validation prototype that uses fictional sample data, does not persist changes and does not access your files. Features, pricing and release plans may change or be cancelled entirely.

No legal or copyright guarantees

Tracefolio organises the evidence you record — sources, licences, receipts, attribution notes and file references. It does not interpret licence agreements, provide legal advice, or determine whether use of any asset is lawful. Nothing on this site or in the product is a legal conclusion, and you remain responsible for reviewing your own agreements and project requirements.

Your participation

Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time.
We may contact you at the email you provide, only about this validation study and early access.
You can ask for your form response to be deleted via the contact page.
Research responses are used to decide what to build; they are not sold or shared for advertising.
