Privacy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This is a practical validation-stage privacy statement written in plain language. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes what this website actually does today and will be replaced with a formal policy if the product launches.

What this website collects

This is a static website. It does not intentionally collect personal information. It has no accounts, no login, no cookies set by us, no forms hosted on this domain and no payment processing.

No analytics or tracking

No analytics, advertising pixels, fingerprinting or session recording are active on this site. If privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics are ever added later, this page will be updated first to say so.

Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP addresses and requested URLs) for security and operations. We do not use such logs to identify visitors.

The early-access form

Early-access and research submissions are handled through an external form hosted by Tally, a third-party form service with its own privacy practices. The form asks for an email address and research questions about your creative workflow. Submitting it is voluntary, is not a purchase or preorder, and you can ask for your response to be deleted at any time via the contact page.

If you arrive at this site through a campaign link (for example from Reddit or YouTube), a simple source label such as reddit may be passed to the form so we know which community a response came from. This is a plain word in the link — it is not a tracking cookie or an identifier.

No product data

The Tracefolio desktop application is a validation prototype and is not released. No production application data is collected by this website or by the prototype. The planned product is local-first: project records and evidence are intended to stay on your own computer.
